This brand new Indica Dubs release features the well-established legendary Roots Reggae singer/deejay; Danny Red. Danny Red has been involved heavily in the Roots Reggae circuit since the 80s, and continues to do so with various releases on his own Ababajahnoi label, other labels, and touring regularly worldwide. Danny Red is responsible for many top releases, ‘Jahovah’ amongst them, the popular classic sound system anthem.

‘Warning’ was recorded towards the last couple of months of 2018 at Conscious Sounds studio and was the last song Danny Red recorded in the UK before moving back to Jamaica. “Bad boys roaming, hypocrites love to do the stone-throwing, we come with love because love is all we bring.” The theme of the song addresses a warning to all bad-minded people.

This is the first-ever collaborations between Indica Dubs and Kai Dub (Dub Forward records), both of the new generation of UK Roots/Dub. ‘Concrete Jungle’ is a steppers instrumental on the Side B of the 10”, with a thunderous drum and bass section from Indica Dubs, backed by Kai Dub with his warrior style drumming and synth melodies. The dub mixes focus on flying echoes, reverbs, phasers, filters and all things dub!
